The Chamber Board of Directors and Ambassadors recently had the opportunity to celebrate the Sleepy Owl Supper Club’s new banquet facility, The Owl’s Nest, with a ribbon cutting.  Owner Jeff Larson, and staff Chip Erwin and Ashley Davis were in attendance to showcase the building.

The Owl’s Nest is located at 7369 E. CR 800 N., in North Webster near Tranter Graphics and Bart’s Watersports on SR 13.  The new space allows seating for 250 people and overlooks a serene pond and wooded property that was purchased a couple years before construction took place.  It features state-of-the-art audio/visual capabilities, large windows letting in natural light, a built in bar and offers a modern/rustic theme that is seen throughout in addition to a fully equipped kitchen for event usage.

Owner Jeff and his staff are extremely excited about the new changes and the overwhelming positive response received thus far from the business community and residents.  Many have expressed that it will be a great addition to the Syracuse-Wawasee Community.  Event Manager, Ashley Davis stated, “it is a one-stop shop for any occasion and is more like a private retreat” offering a unique facility for any event – large or small.  “We can handle large corporate events, large weddings or small office and birthday parties” said Davis.

The Syracuse-Wawasee Chamber of Commerce is proud to offer ribbon cutting services to member businesses that celebrate and promote their achievements. We partner with The Papers Inc., to get exposure for these businesses in their publications and are thankful for them and Beth’s Designs of Syracuse, who provides us with our signature yellow bow and ribbon. In addition to our staff and Board of Directors, our Ambassadors get invitations to attend these events.
